OUR ADVENTURES TRAVELING AMERICA’S EASTERN WATERWAYS ABOARD OUR CABIN CRUISER

Waterways

Tennessee River

We will traverse the Tennessee River from Knoxville to Yellow Creek in the first part of our journey, and as we complete our journey, pick her up again at the confluence of the Ohio River.

Yellow Creek

Bordering Tennessee, Alabama and Mississippi, she was a delight for us to see. After traveling 433 miles, we are officially on the ‘Loop’!.

Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway

The Tenn-Tom is a series of man-made canals connecting rivers and lakes. Developing this waterway allows for marine transportation between Mobile Bay and the Ohio River. By developing this segment connecting the Black Warrior/Tombigbee Waterway with the Tennessee River, America was given a second water route, in addition to the Mississippi River, to support commercial business and pleasure craft between the Gulf and the Ohio River…and parts thereon.
